With a major of Japanese while also taking on a Chinese minor, Katie Cowan is not new to the Asian culture. Her hometown lies within central Florida in the city of Orlando, where she likes to hang out with friends, bowl, and watch Asian dramas. Katie currently serves as secretary for several organizations, including the Asian American Student Union, Japanese Student Association, and Vietnamese Student Association.
