Experience Asia 2009

And what an experience it was! The Asian Coalition of Tallahassee (ACT), what we like to call "Papa AASU," held their 5th annual Experience Asia, an Asian festival held by Tallahassee's very own community-based Asian organizations. The event took place downtown where two city blocks were reserved to hold over 20 food vendors, 50 organizations, and over 15,000 attendees coming in and out throughout the day. Performers, vendors, and speakers were invited from around the nation to provide entertainment, where organizations and student groups from Florida State University worked to recruit and inform new potential members.

Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival had an overwhelming number of people coming in and out of the International Center last night! This program was co-hosted with the Chinese Language and Culture Association and the Vietnamese Student Association, where vigorous work was put into three hours of entertainment, food, and education!
